Our Story
Advancing suborbital research, technology development and missions with reliable hybrid technology
A single-stage, 13m tall rocket utilizing one HyPLOX‑75 hybrid engine to lift up to 200 kg to ~250 km; serves as both a commercial service (microgravity research) and tech demonstrator for SL1.
A uniquely safe single-stage vehicle for microgravity experiments, technology development flights and atmospheric research. Its built-in-house hybrid rocket motor uses paraffin and liquid oxygen, which makes it the first European suborbital rocket that exploits such combination of propellants. It has a thrust of 75kN (sea level) and the rocket can reach 200km and lift payloads of up to 250kg. Onboard two-stage parachute recovery system, capable to recovery payloads of up to 700kg.

Hybrid propulsion booster powered by our pressure fed 75kN hybrid rocket motor, the first large-scale hybrid motor developed in Europe. With advanced filament-wound composite casings, it delivers reliable and efficient thrust using paraffin and liquid oxygen propellants. Its robust design supports a wide range of scientific payloads and includes an active guidance and a recovery system for safe post-flight retrieval.

On 3 May 2024, we successfully launched our SR75 suborbital rocket from the Koonibba Test Range in South Australia, marking a major milestone for our hybrid propulsion technology. The maiden flight, powered by our paraffin and liquid oxygen engine, demonstrated the performance and reliability of our system and laid the foundation for the development of our orbital launcher, SL1.
