ONE OF THE LARGEST HYBRID MOTORS IN THE WORLD
HyPLOX75 is a high-performance, low-cost hybrid motor suitable for orbital launch vehicles, sounding rockets and other flight vehicles. We designed it as a unitary motor for the sounding rocket SR75 and the orbital launcher SL1. The filament-wound motor casing is capable of incorporating a thrust vector control nozzle. The radax connection on the forward skirt enables easy interfacing with the modules on top. Performance has been successfully demonstrated in sea level static firing tests at DLR Lampoldshausen in September 2020.

THyPLOX
FLY HYBRID
THyPLOX is a low-cost, state-of-the-art propulsion system nominally designed for application in the first and second stages of our SL1 orbital launcher. The two-engine propulsion unit is equipped with a turbopump. Both filament-wound motor casings have a thrust vector control nozzle adaptable for sea-level and high-altitude applications. THyPLOX uses all tested technology and materials, adding versatility and new applications to our family of motors.

HyPLOX10
PERFORMANCE, SCALABILITY AND VERSATILITY
The HyPLOX10 motor is the baseline demonstrator of our large HyPLOX75 motor. Our engineers directed more than 80 sea level static firing tests as part of the development and quality assurance process. The success of HyPLOX10 is our proprietary motor design which assures high combustion efficieny that is similar to liquid engines (based on LOX/Kerosene), and retains the inherent simplicity of hybrid rocket motors. The flight weight design includes an advanced composite casing for enhanced performance capabilities. The scalability was successfully demonstrated in a thrust range from 10kN to 75 kN and can be changed further according to custom needs.

Nitrous Oxide Motor
FLIGHT-APPROVED TECHNOLOGY WITH PROVEN SCALABILITY
Our professional heritage goes back to the 10kN N2O / paraffin-based engine that was used on the HEROS technology demonstrator sounding rockets. The motor was successfully flight tested in November 2016 with the HEROS 2 and 3 rockets reaching flight altitudes above 100,000 ft. Proven scalability across a range of configurations demonstrates that these flight-proven motors are readily adaptable to a wide range of launch scenarios and missions.
